Two businesses and a council in South Yorkshire are preparing to roll out the red carpet and welcome a royal visitor.
The Earl of Wessex is visiting Tata Steel in Stocksbridge and umbrella manufacturer and printer Booth Brothers, of Millhouse Green, near Penistone, as well as a business showcase event at Barnsley Town Hall.
He is expected to see modern steel processes at Tata and hear about Booth’s environmental credentials.
The firm boasts wind turbines and solar panels, as well as an Archimedes’ screw generator to harness power from the River Don.
Charles Booth, joint owner, said: “We are delighted the Earl will visit to meet our skilled umbrella manufacturing and printing staff.”
The Earl will be joined on his visit, on Friday, September 13, by Giles Bloomer, Vice Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire.
Mike Smith, lieutenancy officer, said: “The aim in these visits is to showcase South Yorkshire and create a good balanced programme.
“An umbrella printers in Penistone with an Archimedes’ screw is not your run-of-the-mill business.”
