Speciality South Yorkshire tea company The Tea Experience has signed an exclusive deal to supply its premium quality range of loose teas, Flowering Tea Blooms and gift sets to one of Yorkshire’s most stylish delis and farm shops.
The Doncaster-based Tea Experience has clinched a deal with Weeton’s, Harrogate’s top food emporium, which is also ranked as one of the top 100 shops in the UK.
Chris Love, buyer at Weeton’s said: “We pride ourselves on offering our customers the best quality local produce and are always looking for stand out products.
“We are delighted to have found The Tea Experience, a Yorkshire company passionate about loose teas. We have a great selection of teas and this new range will complement our offer and provide a new tea experience for our customers.”
Ann Davis said: “The Tea Experience was created to share and promote the quality of loose leaf teas and tea products at reasonable prices.
“We are delighted to be listed in Weeton’s, a farm shop which is dedicated to providing local producers with a market for their goods. We hope discerning Weeton’s customers will convert to the taste of our loose teas.”
Ann, a former Royal Mail human resources manager, got the inspiration for her company after husband Paul bought her a traditional Yixing ‘purple sand’ China teapot.
She started learning more about the teapots and decided to set up a business selling them while she was recovering from breast cancer a few years ago.
