Taylor & Emmet has become one of the first law firms in the Sheffield area to gain membership of the Law Society’s new Conveyancing Quality Scheme.
The scheme was launched to recognise good practice management and the skills of residential and commercial property teams.
John Outram, head of Taylor & Emmet’s residential property department, said: “It is clear that the CQS is quickly becoming a recognised mark of quality among the conveyancing industry and we are extremely pleased to be one of the first firms in the region to achieve the accreditation.”
Taylor and Emmet has the largest residential conveyancing department in the region and not only acts for a high proportion of local clients, but also works from major lenders and housing associations on a national basis.
The firm was recently invited to join the Conveyancing Association, the trade body for conveyancing firms in the UK.
