SMEs offered £39 million by NatWest

NatWest is offering to lend £39 million to SME customers in South Yorkshire under the Government’s Funding for Lending Scheme.

So far, the bank has helped 1,036 Sheffield based businesses to save £3.3 million on loans worth £128 million.

Ian Cowie, from NatWest and RBS, said: “We are the UK’s biggest lender to SMEs and that is great news but we want to do more. That is why we are now proactively speaking to customers.”
