BRAVE insurance workers swapped pens for parachutes to raise cash for a Sheffield charity.
The team of six staff from IFM Insurance Brokers, Tapton House Road, Broomhill, Sheffield, braved great heights when they took to the sky with the Parachute Regiment’s freefall team.
Employees Anne Lomax, Vicky Linley, Kirsty White, Andrew Biggs, Katie Biggs and Ben Wild organised the stunt as the first of a string of events designed to raise £10,000 for chosen charity, Weston Park Cancer Hospital.
David Biggs, IFM managing director, said: “Despite some bad weather conditions which caused the original jump to be cancelled, our team successfully completed their mission despite a nine-hour wait on the day waiting for the weather to clear. The hospital does some really fantastic work.”
IFM staff also took part in the recent Great North Run.
