Leading European specialist building products distributor SIG is doubling the size of its head office operations on Sheffield Business Park.

The company was founded in Sheffield and based at Hillsborough Barracks until it moved most of its head office operations to a new, 20,000 sq ft, purpose-built headquarters at Sheffield Business Park in 2006.

Now it is taking a further 20,000 sq ft and moving more head office staff to the Business Park.

Property consultancy Crosthwaite Commercial acted on behalf of SIG, which is taking over the former Stanley Tools building, near to its existing premises on the park.
