St Luke’s Hospice has been unveiled as the Crystal Peaks branch of Sainsbury’s Local Charity partner for a second year.
The store asked Sheffield customers to vote during May for their favourite local charity - and will officially launch the partnership with a donation day next Friday, July 6.
Over the next 12 months, the charity will benefit from Sainsbury’s Local Charity partner scheme, now in its fourth year.
Last year, the Crystal Peaks store raised over £11,600 for St Luke’s Hospice. The money will go directly to caring for patients in the in-patient care unit and rehabilitation and therapies centre.
Store manager Phil Finegold said: “St Luke’s Hospice is such a worthy local cause and we’re pleased and proud to be supporting it again.”
