FURTHER information roadshows are being held by Sheffield Council about Streets Ahead highway improvements.
The plans for areas in the north east of the city will be open for discussion at two events on Thursday, February 14.
Sessions are to be held at the Pakistan Advice and Community Association, 127 Page Hall Road, between noon and 2.30pm, and at St Thomas’ Church Hall, 29 Newman Road, Wincobank, from 3.30pm to 6pm.
A spokeswoman for Sheffield Council’s north east community assembly said: “Visitors can find out details about the types of works planned in their area, timescales for these works to be carried out, and the long-term benefits of the works to their community.”
n North East Safer Neighbourhood Team meets tonight from 6pm to 8pm, at Parson Cross Library’s Learning Zone, Wordsworth Avenue.
The meeting will discuss proposals for a section 30 curfew and dispersal order, giving police the powers to break up groups who are gathering on the streets and behaving anti-socially.
