Meet Jonathan Blake, who got to star on a TV advert doing what he loves best - eating Sunday dinner.
The 11-year-old roast and Yorkshires fan hardly had to stretch his acting talent for the role in the Co-op’s latest commercial.
He just had to pick up his knife and fork and do what he does every Sunday at his mum’s dining table in Dronfield.
The co-op’ beef advert ran for two weeks and can still be seen on the company’s website, says his proud mum Rachael, who took him to a modelling and casting agency five months ago,
Jonathan’s TV appearance has made him the talk of his school; his teacher at William Levick Primary even played it to the rest of his class.
Next he’s appearing on the big screen - in a non-spreaking role alongside Gavin & Stacey star James Corden in the upcoming comedy film One Chance.
He’s hoping it’s a stepping stone to realising his dream of one day working with former Doctor Who star David Tennant.
When asked about his TV appearances Jonathan said: “It is an opportunity you don’t really get that often and it was really fun.”
Rachael Blake, Jonathan’s mum, also added: “I’m really proud of him and hopefully it leads to other opportunities.”
