Students in Sheffield are being offered reduced bus and tram passes from next term.

Stagecoach is bringing in a special offer for the next university term, running from January 16 to March 29.

For the period, students from both city universities can get a bus-only ticket for £65, a tram-only ticket for £77 or a combined bus and tram pass for £99.

Paul Lynch, managing director at Stagecoach Yorkshire, said: “Our Unirider makes travelling around Sheffield easier and more cost effective for students. It’s a great way to save students money and with a variety of options available, we have a range of tickets to suit students on all budgets and routes.”
