Sheffield-based entrepreneur James Boardwell is at a city centre pub tomorrow to help launch a new course designed to help creative people start their own companies.
The event at The Sheffield Tap at the railway station is being run by the School for Creative Startups Sheffield.
The school is offering a four-month part-time course which is seeking to attract aspiring entrepreneurs from across the north.
James said: “There is so much creative talent in the north, particularly here in Sheffield, so I think this kind of initiative is absolutely perfect.
“It will equip creative people with the business know-how to turn their hobbies, freelance work, talents and innovative ideas into a viable start-up. I’m thrilled to support it.”
