A BUSINESSWOMAN who has spent two decades at the helm of a Sheffield social, adventure and activity group is stepping down to pursue her dream.
Sandra Willis, franchise manager at Spice South Yorkshire, is leaving after 20 years.
Her company offers a range of events and adventure holidays - from tarot card readings to rambles, to music nights - every month.
The job has allowed Sandra, aged 45, to experience things the rest of us can probably only dream of.
Her office might be in Woodhouse, but camping next to the Grand Canyon under the moonlight and white water rafting are all in a day’s work for her.
And now Sandra is giving it all up to embark on her own adventure travelling around the country in a narrowboat.
She said: “Our members try everything you could dream of.
“As co-ordinator I have been away on thousands of weekends.”
Sandra added: “I’ve been to the Grand Canyon twice - most people don’t even get to do that once in a lifetime.”
