Diamond Dispersions is an award-winning Sheffield company with global sales running into multi-millions.

Founders Peter Callahan and Sue Wright have been on a quest to develop the perfect ink solution for industries all over the world since launching in 2007.

From a small factory in Darnall, the company exports over 40 black and colour products to over 20 countries.

These include: Europe, China, South America, India, Israel, USA, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and South Korea.

Diamond Dispersions manufacture exceptionally high quality water-based pigmented dispersions and dispersed dyes for the global inkjet ink market.

Their skilled team mill super-fine pigments and non-dispersible dyes down to a nanometric scale and, through a unique chemistry procedure, keep the particles suspended in water for up to two years.

These high performance dispersions are used worldwide by multinational brands in the global
market.

Today Diamond Dispersions is one of the leading names in the burgeoning digital textile print market.

Diamond is consequently referred to as one of the leading brands in digital textile printing.

The firm is predominantly active outside the UK with direct exports accounting for in excess of 77 per cent of its production.

The company’s target is to reach £8.3m turnover by August 2017.

It aims to dominate the digital textile printing market while continuing to maintain a reputation for market-leading quality.

The stunning growth of Diamond Dispersions has led to a large capital expenditure in 2015.

The firm purchased two extra milling machines and ancillary equipment to produce the inks and a further six mills are on their way very soon.

In 2015 there has been more than a 100 per cent increase in staff to 21 employees.

The company hopes that its turnover and staff numbers will double again in 2016.
