Staff from a Sheffield bank have signed up for the challenge of a lifetime to help schoolchildren both at home and abroad.

This Saturday a team of 40 volunteers from Santander will be heading to KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa to help build a safe classroom for local children.

The team is embarking on the project to raise £160,000 that will also help children in the UK through the NSPCC’s ChildLine Schools Service, and in South Africa through the school community project.
