Roadshows aim to help people start businesses

SHEFFIELDERS interested in starting a business can get help at citywide Enterprise Roadshows.

Sheffield Council is sending its enterprise bus to 11 locations - then holding eight workshops.

The bus will be out on Tuesday, February 5, at Asda Manor Top from 9am to noon, and at Parson Cross Learning Zone from 1pm to 4pm.

On February 6 it will visit Morrisons, Meadowhead, from 9am to noon, and Tesco Abbeydale Road 1pm to 4pm.

On Feburary 7 it will roll up at Stocksbridge Co-op from 9am to 10.30am, Lidl in Darnall from 11am to 1pm, and Asda, Handsworth, from 1.30pm to 4pm. The same day advice workers will be at the community desk at Crystal Peaks between 9am and noon.

On February 8 the bus heads to Morrisons at Hillsborough from 9am to 12.30pm, and Chapeltown Asda from 1pm to 4pm.

And on Saturday, February 9, it will be parked up on Fargate.

Workshops will be the week after, on the morning of Tuesday, February 12, at Manor Top Library, and in the afternoon at Parson Cross Learning Centre. The next day, on the morning of February 13, there’s a workshop at Woodseats Double Six Club, and in the afternoon at Millhouses Methodist Church.

On the morning of February 14 there’s a workshop at Beighton WMC.

On February 15 morning there’s a workshop at The Garrison Hotel, Hillsborough, and in the afternoon at Chapeltown Library.

And on Saturday, February 16, the session is at First Point for Business, Sheffield Town Hall, from 9am to 12.30pm.
