Stafforce, the Rotherham-based recruitment company, is launching its own academy to enhance the skills of its staff.

The academy will train staff to secure an in-house qualification, which the company calls its Licence to Operate, a management development programme, dubbed The Climb and an initiative to share good practice, called Share and Learn, which is open to all staff.

The first group of 34 Stafforce employees have started on the Licence to Operate apprenticeship programme, while a dozen managers have begun The Climb.

Stafforce director of services Paul Brammer said: “The Academy is part of our commitment to enhancing the skills of our workforce and ensuring our clients and customers gain the best possible experience when working with Stafforce.

“It is really exciting for us to be just launching our own ‘Licence to Operate’ qualification and we expect this will continue to drive excellence within our organisation.

“The Academy will be available to all staff, regardless of job role, and we expect it will bring huge benefit both to our business and to our customers.”
