Pyronix stays true to Rotherham with local expansion

Rotherham security equipment manufacturer Pyronix has snapped up two industrial units in Hellaby as part of £2m expansion plans.

The firm will expand operations in to one, while the other continues to be occupied by Transglobal Freight Management.

Pyronix already has two units on Braithwell Way, Hellaby, The new one will house the R&D department and some production.

The firm, founded by Julie Kenny in 1986, is a world leader in security equipment and has grown 15 per cent every year since 2010. Turnover this year is expected to be more than £22m and it has 155 employees. The £2m funds include cash, a bank loan and a £350,000 grant.
