Budding business brains are on the lookout for mentors to help them find success in aid of Sheffield’s St Luke’s Hospice.
The hospice’s first Biz Kids challenge raised more than £10,000, with 11 primary schools – including children from Westbourne School in Broomhill, pictured – teaming up with local businesses to collect funds. Now the search is on for more city business leaders to lend a hand. Firms provide a £100 seed fund and a mentor, helping children set up profitable enterprises. Already 15 schools have signed up for the 2014 challenge, which launches in November as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week and runs from January to March.
