Inspectors have praised Rotherham College for the quality of its higher education courses.

The report from the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education found a range of good practice with lectures, modules and specialist software reflecting local employment trends to improve student employability upon graduation.

Staff valued the feedback provided by students and saw them as true partners in the development of their and future young people’s learning experience, the report said.

College principal Gill Alton said: “The extremely positive review by the QAA of Rotherham College’s extensive higher education provision is a significant achievement for our college, our students and the local area.”
