THE only non-profit making plastic moulding company in the region has just moved into purpose built new premises.

Moorland Plastics, a social enterprise employing 33 people, has unveiled its 44,000sq ft premises at Carlton Industrial Estate. The business makes PVCu doors and windowframes, and injection moulded and vac-forming items. It is supported by Barnsley Council and employs people with additional needs, training them up to NVQ level.
