Plant firm wins trade mark case

Sheffield-based Hague Plant has scored success in a trade mark infringement and passing off claim, which it brought against one of its former directors.

The Bradfield-based company, which provides services and equipment to the construction, demolition, plant and waste management industries, launched legal action against a company previously known as Hague Plant Excavations.

Under the terms of a Court Order, Hague Plant Excavations will change its name and pay damages to Hague Plant, in addition to paying its costs.
