Litton Property Group has awarded Chesterfield-based Roe Developments a contract to build the second phase of its Riverside Business Park in Bakewell.
The new phase will comprise a £500,000 building, providing 12,000 sq ft of high-spec industrial and business space, capable of sub-division to suit individual business needs.
The award-winning Thornbridge Brewery– already a major occupier at Riverside Business Park – is taking space in the new building, which it will use for storage, so that it can expand operations in its existing facility.
Personal fitness business, Born2move, is planning to open a bespoke private training suite and other local businesses are showing interest.
Litton Property Group marketing manager Helen Yates said: “We are delighted to be able to press forward with this further phase in view of the demand from local businesses. We are also confident that one or two other companies in the area may consider relocating here in view of conversations we have been having.”
The new development, known as the Kingfisher Building, has been designed by architects Bond Bryan and the engineers are Eastwood & Partners.
Letting agents are the Sheffield offices of Knight Frank and Mark Jenkinson & Sons.
