A renowned building in Sheffield’s Cathedral Quarter has been snapped up by an investor keen to let it to up and coming small companies.
The Synergy building is being marketed as quality office space with flexible terms as the new owner tries to go beyond its traditional professional core client.
The building between Campo Lane and Bank Street is home to tenants including law firm Lupton Fawcett, Thompsons Solicitors and Prospects and Waterman.
But agents Knight Frank say it should appeal to companies looking to go up in the world, with a manned reception, on-site parking, showers and Wi-Fi.
Recent refurbishment has created suites of different sizes, they add.
Tim Bottrill, partner at Knight Frank, said: “Under its new ownership, the property offers some of the most desirable office space in the city centre which was traditionally only accessible to relatively large, corporate tenants.”
