“Firstpoint Business Park has played a very positive role in the economic regeneration of Doncaster and this latest phase will only serve to enhance that.”
The opening of the new Morrisons superstore at Balby Carr is timed to coincide with the completion of a ‘missing link’ in the borough’s road network which will be another piece in theSouthern Gateway regeneration jigsaw.
Recruitment for the posts on offer at the new-style Fresh Market format store has already started.
At the same time, work is progressing on the Government-backed scheme to finish Woodfield Way, which will link the Woodfield Plantation estate with the B&Q roundabout on White Rose Way and Lakeside.
