A Sheffield MP cut the ribbon to mark the opening of a new- look post office.
Clive Betts, MP for Sheffield South East, was at the official relaunch of Darnall Post Office.
He said: “I welcomed the news that Darnall Post Office was to be refurbished and I was delighted to be able to formally open the branch. I’m sure the improved office, the wider range of services, and all-day opening on Saturday will be warmly welcomed.”
Darnall Forum manager Neil Bishop said: “Our charity was delighted to have the opportunity to modernise the branch and we are very pleased to officially relaunch it.”
Steve Bruckshaw, Post Office senior stakeholder manager, added: “We understand how important having a post office is to residents in Darnall and I am confident this newly- modernised branch will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.
“This modernisation is part of a major investment programme to convert the network to new branches.”
