New commercial chief for NatWest

NatWest has appointed Pete Gray as its director of commercial banking in Sheffield.

Mr Gray has worked for NatWest and the RBS Group for 26 years throughout Yorkshire, and was its director of commercial banking in Leeds prior to his new appointment.

NatWest regional director Liam Kane said: “Pete’s appointment comes as part of our continued commitment to supporting SMEs in Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

“He brings with him a high level of experience, knowledge, passion and expertise which he will no doubt share with teams as well as customers. I wish him every success in his new role.”

n Lupton Fawcett Denison Till, the commercial law firm with offices in Sheffield, Leeds and York, has appointed former BHP Law head of litigation Paul Sykes as a director.

Mr Sykes joins a team comprising more than 20 directors and executives across the firm’s three offices. Lupton Fawcett Denison Till employs more than 280 staff, including 140 executives.
