Psst... It’s a secret, but a Supper Club is being staged in Sharrow.
The meal will be eaten at a secret location as part of the Sharrow Fringe Festival.
A British-themed three-course meal for £12 will include mackerel pate and smoked salmon with horseradish remoulade, beetroot and goats cheese salad, lemon lamb stew and summer pudding.
Organisers Blend, a community food initiative, aims to bring people together through affordable food and stages cookery classes, children’s cooking clubs and supper nights. Hundreds of Sharrow residents have already joined in.
“Our first supper club, staged at Harland Café, bought together over 40 strangers and friends for tapas and talking,” says Luisa Golob, organiser. “I had people stopping me in the street afterwards to tell me what a great time they had.”
Luisa, a micro brewer, lives in Nether Edge and is committed to raising the neighbourhood’s profile.
Book for the July 13 supper (email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Luisa on 07854983197) and get your clues to lead you to the secret venue.
Luisa isn’t giving the game away, but says the location will be “very unusual.”
