LEOPOLD Square in Sheffield city centre launches a packed summer calendar of live events this weekend.
An eclectic mix of live music begins at Platillos on Saturday with Sheffield jazz-funk outfit Mr Proper followed by Barrio Latino on Sunday with an expansion of their salsa party.
This year’s live programme will run every weekend from May through to mid-September. May’s line-up includes The Spirit of Brazilian Jazz, Larry Van Kriedt, The Dizzy Club and Badge.
Also in the programme is Leopold Square’s contribution to the Tramlines Festival with live artists soon to be announced, rounded off with an extra special Barrio Latino event on Sunday, July 24.
