MP Caroline Flint has praised one of Doncaster’s latest factory developments after visiting its site in Thorne.
She toured Omega’s site in Thorne to see its new £1 million state-of-the-art paint shop.
She also had a lesson in how to pack customers’ orders.
The Labour MP for Don Valley said: “Omega’s Thorne site is impressive.
“The firm has decided to tackle the depressed economic situation by upping its game, investing in modern manufacturing and creating 16 new jobs in the process.
“Its manufacturing and distribution now employs 300 people and they are overwhelmingly local people.”
