MOTORISTS are being warned of diversions and delays as the next phase of work gets under way on White Rose Way.
As part of the improvements along the road, carriageway surfacing works are planned to take place on Lady Bank junction between 9pm on Friday and 6am on Monday 15 April.
Temporary traffic management arrangements and diversions will be in place during the weekend to allow the essential works to take place.
It will include daytime turning restrictions and diversions at the roundabout. There will also be a night time closure (9pm to 6am) of the road over the railway lines, between Lady Bank and Potteric Carr junctions, which will only affect outbound traffic.
Peter Dale, Doncaster Council’s Director of Regeneration and Environment said: “The council is working closely with the main contractor Balfour Beatty to minimise disruption during these essential works and I would like to thank motorists for their patience.”
Signposted diversions will be in place. Full details of the restricted turnings and diversions are available at: www.doncaster.gov.uk/wrw
