Plans to put up nearly 70 apartments on part of the car park at Waitrose in Sheffield are set to be given the green light.
The proposals, for 67 two- and three-bedroom flats in an eight-storey building, are recommended for approval at a meeting of the council’s planning committee on Tuesday.
The site, close to Ecclesall Road and near to the flats at the former Wards Brewery, was also used as a recycling point, accessed from Napier Street, but is now closed off.
Recycling facilities have been moved elsewhere in the car park.
