DEVELOPERS at the Advanced Manufacturing Park are considering building a second block of hi-tech highbred units for fast-growing technology firms, following the success of the Evolution@the AMP units which are now fully occupied.
News of the potential expansion comes as it was revealed that the AMP Technology Centre is now 75 per cent let, in addition to being used by blue chip businesses like Deloitte and Rolls-Royce and organisations like UK Trade and Investment and Yorkshire Business Gold to hold prestigious events.
Meanwhile, landowners Harworth Estates are also finalising a study, examining potential future development which could include additional land, expanding the size of the AMP to around 150 acres.
This year will also see the AMP host the Global Manufacturing Festival and a number of events linked to the 100 years of Stainless Steel.
This year’s Global Manufacturing Festival will focus on key sectors such as aerospace, renewable and civil nuclear energy and is expected to attract speakers and visitors from around the world.
