City law firm DLA Piper has raised more than £8,000 for the Mistress Cutler’s Challenge by turning the centre of Sheffield into a giant game of Monopoly.

Mistress Cutler Julie MacDonald started the annual event in which teams from different companies tried to visit all the real life locations on the Sheffield Monopoly board in two hours.

Event organiser Beverley Ensor said: “The event was a huge success and it was great seeing the teams go to extraordinary lengths to win, with a good dose of competitive spirit only adding to the atmosphere. This is the sixth year we have run the Giant Monopoly Challenge and every year we get fantastic support, with more teams entering this year than ever.”
