Mexborough man Andrew Jones has been appointed by an affordable housing developer as the Eastern region operations manager.

Leeds-based affordable housing developer and regeneration specialist Lovell has appointed Andrew Jones, who lives in Mexborough, as operations manager for the company’s Eastern region new-build, mixed tenure, regeneration and refurbishment housing business.

Andrew, who joins Lovell from construction company Lindum York where he was divisional director, will be responsible for the operational delivery of all Lovell schemes in Yorkshire, the East Midlands and the North East. He is based at the company’s Leeds regional office in Turnberry Park, Gildersome.

Andrew brings extensive senior level experience with particular expertise in the social housing and extra care housing sectors.

Lovell regional director Simon Medler says: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Andrew to our senior team in the region. He has exceptional skills and industry experience and will help ensure that we continue to deliver the high-quality construction service which our customers and clients expect.” Andrew’s previous career includes working as operations director for Pyott Construction and operations manager for Mansell.
