A Chesterfield metal distributor is marking its 30th anniversary by moving into a purpose-built on Derbyshire County Council’s flagship regeneration site.
Work has just started on a 50,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution centre for Gould Alloys at Markham Vale on Junction 29A of the M1.
It was designed by the county council’s private sector developer Henry Boot which is also building the unit.
The county council has invested £77 million to reclaim the former mining area at Markham, between Chesterfield and Bolsover, to create 5,000 jobs.
