Meadowhall has won an award for its PR strategy to market the centre to shoppers, the community and retailers.
The shopping centre has received a BCSC Purple Apple Award for its 2010 PR strategy.
The honour celebrates excellence in advertising, marketing, PR, events and community engagement campaigns.
The awards took place at a ceremony and dinner in London, hosted by actress and comedienne Meera Syal.
Richard Pinfold, marketing director at Meadowhall, said: “It is a huge honour to receive a Purple Apple Award and we are particularly delighted to be only one of four centres recognised with a top award on the night.”
