Marketing expert Steve Bellingham has been reached the final three of the prestigious ‘Marketer of the Year’ awards.
Mr Bellingham, managing director of Sheffield based Rare Creative Group, will be up against Peter Markey of insurance group More Th>n and Steve Porter of accounting software business Sage in the contest run by leading industry publication, The Drum.
All three reached the shortlist following a poll on The Drum’s website.
Aizlewoods Mill based Rare’s clients include Polypipe, Saint Gobain, The University of Leeds and Doncaster College.
Mr Bellingham’s work for Polypipe was one of the factors in his shortlisting and has included developing a strategic marketing strategy for Polypipe Under Floor Heating that has helped the company grow its installer network, significantly increase its market share and revenue and achieve a return on investment in excess of 1,000 per cent.
He said: “We have enjoyed a fantastic twelve months at Rare working on exciting projects for new and existing clients with the support of our expanding strategic, creative and digital teams.”
