Naylor Industries, the Barnsley-based construction products and gardenware company, has become the latest business to gain the right to use the prestigious Made in Sheffield mark.

The mark is a private sector led initiative and is awarded to companies from the Sheffield City Region that demonstrate an ongoing commitment to quality and excellence.

Naylor’s chief executive, Edward Naylor, said: “The Made in Sheffield Mark reflects the Naylor standards of quality and excellence as well as our long heritage of British engineering.

“We are proud to be members and look forward to promoting the Made in Sheffield brand alongside our own.”

Naylor, based at Clough Green, Cawthorne, was founded 123 years ago and started life making clay pipes and bricks.

Today, in addition to a range of traditional and innovative clay drainage products, the company also produces architectural and specialist concrete lintels, plastic piping and other products for a range of applications and gardenware.
