Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister Zoran Stavreski is visiting Sheffield in a bid to develop trade with city region businesses.
Mr Stavreski, Minister for Foreign Investments Vele Samak and Invest Macedonia’s chief executive, Visar Fida, will attend a seminar organised by the South Yorkshire International Trade Centre and hosted by law firm Hill Dickinson on Wednesday, July 17.
SYITC’s Nick Patrick said: “Macedonia is a key geographical crossroads. A combination of its easy access to hundreds of millions of people across Europe, low taxes and free trade agreements with surrounding countries make it an attractive place to do business.
“Macedonia is equally keen to attract investment from the UK and to develop and promote partnerships with businesses in the aerospace and engineering sectors, in particular. We hope local organisations will make the most of this opportunity by attending and demonstrating the range and clout of businesses in South Yorkshire.”
