Panache Lingerie has been presented with a Queen’s Award for International Trade, in recognition of a more than fivefold increase in overseas sales during the last six years.

The Lord Lieutenant of South Yorkshire, David Moody, presented the award and citation to managing director John Power, left, and product director John Power at a ceremony at Whirlowbrook Hall in Sheffield, attended by the company’s international sales force and UK staff.

Panache sells to 53 countries worldwide and has offices in New York and China, as well as Sheffield, where it was founded.

The company’s main export markets are the USA, Australia, Poland, Germany and Canada.
