The hunt is on for two new members for Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership’s board.
LEP chairman James Newman said: “We are looking for new private sector members with the skills, experience and commitment to make strategic decisions which will drive economic growth in the Sheffield City Region.
“We would particularly welcome applicants with experience in the finance, investment and property sectors and with strong experience in driving business growth.”
The LEP Board is made up of 19 members – 10 are private sector business leaders and eight are local authority leaders, plus the Mayor of Doncaster.
The vacancies have arisen because Adsetts Partnership group chief executive Philip Bartey is leaving the board due to his other business commitments and the addition of Derbyshire Dales to the LEP has created another place for a private sector representative.
Applications should be submitted through the LEP’s dedicated recruitment website www.sheffieldcityregionlep.com by Monday.
