Leisure resorts business Darinian has completed the expansion of its Roydon Marina Village development, with backing from HSBC.
Deepcar-based Darinian, which has properties in the Yorkshire Dales, as well as the Marina Village outside London, is now planning further expansions in the South of England, with the help of its new bankers.
Roydon Marina Village development director, Richard Sidi, said: “Switching our banking to HSBC enabled us to implement a redevelopment program with the aim of offering first-class facilities and a more attractive destination to potential customers.
“HSBC has worked closely with the management team to complete this transaction and we are excited to work with them going forward to grow the business further.”
HSBC’s backing allowed Darinian to develop the 315- berth marina in addition to building an extension of 25 new lodges at Roydon Marina Village.
This is within the Lee Valley Regional Park and also incorporates a motel, residential homes park and entertainment facility.
