DONCASTER firm i-education is building up a successful business, say bosses, by providing games-based revision in 900 primary and secondary schools across the UK.
Success Doncaster has offered support to assist i-education in its development, with business growth and ‘D-HUB’ incubator units which provide high quality office space for creative and digital businesses in Doncaster.
The company is also a member of Doncaster Chamber of Commerce and won three awards in consecutive years – Young Company of the Year in 2008, Customer Service Award 2009, and Doncaster Innovation Award 2010.
Director Steve Holt, aged 33, said the purpose is to engage students.
“If we create something they want to do and are interested in, half the battle is won and results will go up,” he said. “Students think they are playing games but they’re actually improving their results.”
