Yorkshire law firms are showing signs of recovery, according to a Law Society survey, sponsored by Lloyds TSB Commercial.

Income from fees has risen slightly after falling by 6.5 per cent in the previous year and firms are beginning to recruit again.

Craig Bennett, from Lloyds TSB Commercial in Yorkshire, said: “In a year of unprecedented change for the legal profession, it is pleasing to see another increase in the number of participants in the survey. I am convinced that firms who are actively seeking external comparators will be in the vanguard of success.”
