Commercial property experts at Sheffield law firm Taylor&Emmet have helped a Lincolnshire entrepreneur realise her ambition.

Lynsey Page turned to Taylor&Emmet’s Rachel Houghton for help to complete the purchase of a caravan and cottage business at Newlands Farm, Epworth, rapidly to accommodate pressures on the vendor.

Rachel Houghton said: “Lynsey recognised the potential in Newlands Farm straight away, but needed professional advice and support to put her plans into action.

“I am very pleased that, even though we had to deal with severely restrictive time constraints, we were able to reach a successful conclusion on her behalf. The business is already booming and I have every confidence that she has the tenacity and conviction to transform this going concern into a thriving business.”

Newlands Farm comprises six holiday cottages, 16 static caravans, a lake and woodland, along with a six and a half acre field that Ms Page is planning to develop into space for touring caravans and other temporary accommodation.

She is currently working with Ms Houghton again to further enhance the complex.

Ms Page said: “I decided to instruct Taylor&Emmet to secure Newlands Farm, as its probate department handled an earlier matter for me and proved to be extremely professional.

“From the outset, the commercial property team was personable and reliable. When Rachel said something would be done, it was. I wouldn’t use anyone else now.”
