Seven trainees from law firm Irwin Mitchell’s Sheffield offices took part in gruelling a 24-hour ‘row-a-thon’ to raise money for charity as part of the Master Cutler’s Challenge.
They covered the the equivalent of 341km on two rowing machines - far enough to take them from Hull to Holland in a real rowing boat - on two rowing machines set up at set up at the firm’s Riverside offices by Ponds Forge gym staff.
The team comprised Zarvin Vandrewala, David Withers, Paul Weston, Robert Foster, Debbie Laidlaw, Charlie Bell, and Jenny Barton.
Zarvin said: “The hardest period was 10pm to 6am. The graveyard shift indeed!”
