A SOUTH Yorkshire skills organisation has taken on Doncaster teenager Kirsten Leslie as an apprentice.

Skills for Justice, which works closely with the employers of the UK Justice, Community Safety, Legal Services and HM Forces sectors to develop the framework for apprenticeships, has taken on the 18-year-old as a recruit.

Kirsten, who is also a Doncaster police cadet, has been placed at the organisation’s head office in Sheffield while working towards a level two apprenticeship in business administration.

“This is the best thing I have ever done,” she said.
