THREE quarters of people in Sheffield feel ‘burdened’ by procrastination - with unfinished tasks causing arguments and raising stress in most city households.

Leaving jobs incomplete is driving stress levels through the roof, even though many jobs around the house are small and easy to remedy.

One in five Sheffielders feels guilt-ridden about their procrastination and wishes they were more proactive.

A third are left with a sense of dread - even though 57 per cent of people admit some jobs have been left undone for over six months. One in 10 people has jobs lingering for five years.

One in eight Sheffielders fights daily with their partners, and a quarter of women want their men to take control, according to the survey by website Crucial.com
