A Sheffield based marketing company has been revealed as the firm behind the branding and identity of the cultural festival taking place in the run up to the start of the Tour de France.
Jaywing was selected because of its continuing work with the 100 day Yorkshire Festival’s main sponsor, Yorkshire Water.
The firm was asked to create an identity that would emphasise the quality of the festival programme and attract both existing arts audiences and new audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
The firm worked closely with Welcome to Yorkshire to design and make the artwork for the festival website, event programme and supporting materials.
David Wood, managing director of Attercliffe Common-based Jaywing, said: “Nothing like this festival has ever been done before in Yorkshire, we’re therefore extremely proud to be involved in such a significant event happening right on our doorstep.”
Hopes are that the Yorkshire Festival leading up to Grand Depart in July will be the biggest cultural festival ever to be held in the county.
