ENTREPRENEUR Lewis Bowen has secured a major deal with Sheffield’s Go Outdoors with a business vision that began in his room at university.

Sheffield Hallam University graduate Lewis, aged 24, now managing director of Geco Industries, has the ambition to go far.

His company aims to make alternative energy solutions more affordable.

Lewis recently secured a lucrative deal with Go Outdoors for his company’s bio-ethanol gel fuel ‘Fuel4 X series’.

The fuel is a unique non-toxic material providing efficient, smokeless fuel for camping and festivals.

Lewis was helped to set up in business by Sheffield Council’s development arm Creative Sheffield and has set up at the Hillfoot Industrial Estate, off Penistone Road.

After securing the deal with Go Outdoors, Lewis is now focusing towards the international market - with plans to create a number of franchises and factories in Africa.
